They started by producing spare parts but by 1914 they were manufacturing complete vehicles. Both of the brothers died in 1920, John died in January from Pneumonia and Horace passed away in December from Cirrhosis. Walter Chrysler put in an offer to buy Dodge in 1926 but his offer was refused until 1928 where an arrangement was sorted out.

 Dodge now sells their cars to more then 60 different countries and territories all over the world. Some of their most famous models includes the long running Dodge Charger, Dodge Challenger and of course the much loved Dodge Viper.
